It's been some time since we've posted some artwork. Things have been busy for everyone, of course, but I'm happy to bring a near-complete sample from Dave.To date we have released character drawings, some landscape-esque work and whatnot, but the picture below is by far the most detailed work we've shown you to date.

This picture will actually appear in a prequel, of sorts. Since we are still a considerable distance from bringing you the first book, we thought we would create a shorter story taking place prior to the start of the first book.
The character in the foreground is a significant part of the rest of the story overall, and Dave is working on a painting of as he appears in the first book (which takes place a few decades after the particular moment pictured above).
And since it will be much shorter (as opposed to the first book, which has shaped up to be around 350 pages) we are hoping to release it completely online by the end of this year!
